Maggie, your analysis is brilliant, here is the crux of the matter really, story and what is extracted from it. Um? So what is it that makes the Star Wars, Star Trek, star brothers and sisters, galactic war, and
space/ time travel so enticing? It gets more traction than even the most juicy true conspiracy stories of real evil doing right here at home. I have often felt a sudden brittle sadness that some Earth shattering news is so easily overlooked, glanced at and walked away from. I think it is because people feel powerless so their minds jump to the fantastical
make believe or savior meme then they sink back to life as usual,
can't do a thing about it so I will go bury my head in the sand.
@ P'sC - so curious as to your statement that reality is NOT the Star Trek one. My questions about the Book of Man, or any narrative of such, is that there is really nothing or very little factual to support it. Many researchers put together seemingly credible conclusions, such as Wes Penre or Ralph Ellis, that on closer scrutiny don't add up or contain contradicting information. AND, this is the BIG AND ... their research leads to contradicting, even confusing conclusions. I respect those who dedicate their life to real research, they do a great service so my comments are not meant to discredit them. My preference for information is from the Nag Hammadi and the most unadulterated aboriginal songlines of those like Credo Mutwa, though he has been 'made a
persona via David Icke.
What I strongly feel about Corey Goode is that he has a strong empathic tone in his voice and was originally relating a part of his early life traumas (mostly true, and quite likely part of programs that were run on him). These 'programs' are quite possibly similar in nature to a great swath of human consciousness, I have vague recall of such from my childhood, though much remains blocked out. My conjecture at the moment is that all of humanity is 'programed' and Corey's programs seem to be some of the broadest ones used, astral pirate ship picking him up, reinforced by Peter Pan stories and movies or taken from this tale.
Another quick analysis of the PA blow up is that BR is always happy to have controversial characters along with the moderators and diplomats, this mix is purposely stirred from time to time to keep things interesting. The stirring is either via the appearance of
someone in the know who promises to reveal some deep secret (Charles, maurice, etc.) or via attacking and outing (oh my! scandalous a la titillating tabloid) a longstanding member if such is deemed too close to the truth, questions too deeply the assumed authority, has gained too large of a following or is now seen as detrimental to the reputation of PA. This pattern has repeated again and again. The current baddie is Simon Parkes who was once a coddled stellar personage of PA. BR didn't really like SP or even agree with him but he clearly saw the benefit of keeping him active on the forum.
* sidenote: SP on the other hand was very interested in what I was seeing during the blow up, my last conversation with him was basically him questioning me very graciously of course about what was going on behind the scenes on PA.
So when Corey's story burst on to the scene it wasn't consciously planned, at least not from my point of view, though as I have said before there was a deep knowing in me that his life was going to change drastically. I remember telling him when he was worried about money and the insurance company challenging payment for his surgeries (they were real) that he wouldn't have to worry much longer. I bring this up simply because I sense the background of an intelligence mechanism that uses our impulses to further an agenda, this is the unseen piece that is behind the personalities and I really feel if we stay stuck on the personalities we will miss seeing something and it could be frightening at first, then liberating if we confront it.
Corey was gathering a larger and larger following plus getting private communications from the very audience that I speculate PA was set up to gather information from; abductees, MILABs, MKUltra and psychics. BR keeps meticulous accounts of every conversation typed or recorded. He also keeps pictures and PMs sent to him on external hard drives. During the blow up I was freaking because of the vulnerability I felt people were in and the harvesting of metadata that included very personal accounts told in a supposedly safe arena.
I don't wish to diverge further down my own story line.
The only real questions for me are the healing ones, the empowering ones: What and how do we take away the cobwebs from our consciousness and walk (fly) free? What is my purpose and how do I know when I am in alignment with it, in flow and in grace?
