Following the shadows of the skies or are they only figments of my eyes?
And I'm feeling close to where the race is run
Waiting in our boats to set sail, sea of joy
Once the door swings open into space and I'm already waiting in disguise
Or is it just a thorn between my eyes?
Waiting in our boats to set sail, sea of joy
Having trouble coming through, through this concrete, blocks my view
And it's all because of you
Or is it just a thorn between my eyes?
Waiting in our boats to set sail, sea of joy

"Boat On The River"
Take me back to my boat on the river
I need to go down, I need to come down
Take me back to my boat on the river
And I won't cry out any more
Time stands still as I gaze In her waters
She eases me down, touching me gently
With the waters that flow past my boat on the river
So I don't cry out anymore
Oh the river is wide
The river it touches my life like the waves on the sand
And all roads lead to Tranquillity Base
Where the frown on my face disappears
Take me down to my boat on the river
And I won't cry out anymore
Oh the river is deep
The river it touches my life like the waves on the sand
And all roads lead to Tranquillity Base
Where the frown on my face disappears
Take me down to my boat on the river
I need to go down
Won't you let me go down?
Take me back to my boat on the river
And I won't cry out anymore
And I won't cry out anymore
And I won't cry out anymore

When I was a younger woman, this song was the most sensual (and other descriptive words..). Now that I'm an older woman... it still is. Some things never change...

OMG! Blood is boiling, doesn't get much better than Gypsy Mongolian music! Wow, FB turns out to be valuable for some things.

Miss Christine,
Did you know that there is a rumor among the Rom, the gypsy people, that Mozart himself stole the melody used in Turkish March from Gypsy performers?
They say he altered about two measures' worth and left the rest exactly as they have played it for hundreds of years!
This information came from a library book on the Gypsy people, that i must have read in Texas decades ago.

Most "classical" music is folk tunes.
And, if you think about it, "What's the difference between a band of Gypsies and a state orchestra"?
The band of Gypsies represent freedom. The state orchestra represents err.... an Army.
After getting to know an orchestral musician and finding out more about what makes people like that tick, I came to my own conclusion that they get off on being in an "army". An orchestra is a huge army being lead by a general. That army does exactly what it's told from start to finish.
That army is given stuff to play that has been ripped off from all over the place. It doesn't really matter where it came from, the point is that it gets played like a military operation and even sounds like it, to me, too. The whole production line all the way back to some revered "composer" is really just a process of hoovering up anything that's out there and reforming it into a psychological reversal of what it once was, way back when it sprang from the hearts and mouths of simple folk.
Well, that's all my own opinion, of course.

HaHa ! .. ok my lips are sealed....
Now... IF you've got a cracking good sound system, this mix I put together about 6 weeks ago will rock you and shock you and pick you up and kiss you after. It's my third attempt at it. The first two versions were too much for the people who heard it in my local watering hole here. I was almost chased out of the place for subjecting them to so much fresh energy ( for them - they really only care about if Newcastle is ahead of Sunderland in the premier league soccer ).
Good system, or good headphones, or it's not really worth it:

Lol @ pun.
I'm very angry at Sprint store for not accurately predicting my data usage. New plan is real bad.
Needless to say, I'd love to hear it but may have to wait a week. Bookmark
