It feels like I am using this thread as a blog. Anyway, to elaborate on the subtle body my hypothesis is that it is directly connected to the vacuum energy in space instead of like ordinary physical matter which is a more crude and fixed structure of the vacuum energy.
"Vacuum energy is an underlying background energy that exists in space throughout the entire Universe. ... The effects of vacuum energy can be experimentally observed in various phenomena such as spontaneous emission, the Casimir effect and the Lamb shift, and are thought to influence the behavior of the Universe on cosmological scales. Using the upper limit of the cosmological constant, the vacuum energy of free space has been estimated to be 10
−9 joules (10
−2 ergs) per cubic meter.[1] However, in both quantum electrodynamics (QED) and stochastic electrodynamics (SED), consistency with the principle of Lorentz covariance and with the magnitude of the Planck constant requires it to have a much larger value of 10
113 joules per cubic meter.[2][3] This huge discrepancy is known as the vacuum catastrophe." --

Maybe I have already mentioned it somewhere else but I think the vacuum catastrophe described in the quote above is because of how the vacuum fluctuations are measured. Think of zillions of random fluctuations in all directions. When adding them together as an average sum then the fluctuations cancel each other out almost completely and that explains why space appears empty and the very low energy value of 10
−9 joules/m
3. But when adding the absolute values of each individual fluctuation together, the sum becomes enormous and that explains the extremely high energy value of 10
113 joules/m
3. Zero point energy technology is possible I believe by causing the random fluctuations to become less random which produces large amounts of energy straight out of the vacuum of space.
I think I have already mentioned out-of-body experiences (OBEs) in relation to the vacuum energy too, but it could be worth repeating here.
"An out-of-body experience (OBE or sometimes OOBE) is an experience that typically involves a feeling of floating outside one's body and, in some cases, the feeling of perceiving one's physical body as if from a place outside one's body (autoscopy)." --

My hypothesis is that OBEs are explained by our consciousness being able to exist in the vacuum energy anywhere is space. Simply by structuring the vacuum energy for information processing like in the brain, our consciousness can move outside the body.
The subtle body is I believe structured vacuum energy, but instead of as in an OBE the subtle body is anchored in the physical body, at least for our simple kind of human subtle body.
The physical body is made of trillions of cells. Bruce Lipton said that the brain of the cell is not the DNA. The brain of the cell is the cell membrane. And on the membrane there are receptors that receive signals which can be chemical signals, but they can also be energy signals like electromagnetic influences. And the subtle body can easily produce energy signals that directly affect the cells in our physical bodies. So yes, chemicals affect our cells, but the subtle body can take over the control of every receptor on every cell membrane in the body. And that is a much more powerful and faster way to change the physical body.
For example the placebo effect may be the subtle body being subconsciously activated by a person's belief in what an authority has said. A doctor in a white lab coat gives a patient a sugar pill (which in a double-blind situation the doctor himself or herself doesn't know whether it's a sugar pill or not) and the patient's health improves. That's a pretty stupid use of the subtle body. Instead it will be much more powerful to control the subtle body directly with our conscious minds. So that's something I think is worth experimenting with.
