Anyone who believes we are up against communism re: Russia/Putin, don't make me laugh.

Putin is following the same formula invented by the oil magnate Bush family, when he invaded the middle east. In fact our two nations have been switching roles every few years, sort of a good cop bad cop joke, but we're sitting in the same gasoline powered cruiser.

To Mr Putin I say, true capitalism never mocks. It occasionally steals, but it is not a mere copycat. The spirit of pure capitalism cannot be clearly separated from the spirit of creativity. Bounty of the wallet follows the bounty of the mind.

This state cannot be achieved by world powers locked into the stagnant cycle of supply and demand of the old.

True capitalism demands the new, the improved, the efficient, and the cheap.

We are getting none of these things by destroying foreign culture over a few cubic yards of gas or oil.

Aside from some personality quirks, I'm not seeing much to like about Mr Putin until he does away with his Imperialistic oligarchy of neo capitalism and does an honest inventory of his country and its long term goals.

Being the biggest baddest animal on the endangered list isnt power.

The important aspects include a great economic freedom, attaching the private property of the industries and companies, moderated with a centralized economic planning, which can include that the State is an owner of some means of production.

P.s. when Standard Oil was broken up in , what, 1911, it was because, owning the land and producing the oil, plus having sole oversight and control of its distribution, was considered a stinking, god awful monopoly .
