So i have this turbocharged volvo 850 thing,
And the fuel door is stuck closed.. lol.

Yesterday it was the trunk lock feeling loose and today the fuel door decided to bite a big cock.

I have a huge crowbar, ironically, but pretty worried about damage to the locking system etc.

Lol i wonder what superman would do, cut the arm of the latch with heat vision?

I might pry the door open partially and try to cut the locking arm with freaking cable cutters if i can't find a five minute fix on google.

People were saying that after it rains this is a common issue.
Those who are unable to find the gods forsaken manual release cord and or button are stuck removing interior panels to access a very grody and dirty actuating motor.

Instead of doing that shit, i saw that the metal seam was poorly welded. I was able to pry the door by hand, slowly tearing the metal joint until it sprang loose.

There was a metal tab of course still locked onto the chassis by the faulty locks.

After two trips to the gas station and virtually no use of the trunk, the lock decided to randomly release the little tab and it fell on the ground while the old gas lady at TAJ laughed her ass off.

Those little things in life that make it so amazing
