Star Dust

I wrote most of this a while back and just finished it. I’ll post a picture with it later (down to only an iPad at the moment and am technologically challenged). After posting about evil, I thought I would post something a little more upbeat.




Star Dust

I see star dust beginning to swirl
In a dazzling display of light

As if throwing off the slumber
Of a long and sleepless night

Unaware yet of one another
And the why of their spontaneous flight

They circle round and round
To the starry night’s delight

Once the journey’s begun
There is no end in sight

No knowing of the outcome
Nor the where of their hearts delight

For that story is still unfolding
As the dance through darkness winds

It’s way to new days’ dawning
And breaks the nights old binds

For when the sun is risen
Upon the morning sky

All the sparks of heaven
Will suddenly know why
