That so much could be manufactured to shape our perceptions in this world seems to be beyond the grasp of many, but more and more are coming forward with similar information it gets hard to ignore. There are more links to follow if you go to the article online below. She is just one of many to come forward about this false narrative so many believe. I question everything now.
ANOTHER CIA OFFICER COMES FORWARD ABOUT 9/11 & ISIS. “STORIES MANUFACTURED BY A REALLY SMALL NUMBER OF PEOPLE”
http://www.collective-evolution.com/201 ... of-people/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
We’re living in an age where Western governments advocate for complete transparency, yet they punish whistleblowers who come forward to reveal important information that the public has a right to know about. The world is dying for information, which is why we have brave souls like Edward Snowden and Julian Assange (to name a few) doing the work that they are doing. Over the past few years alone, we’ve seen many insiders share information in order to educate the masses about what’s really happening on our planet. Simply put, our word is shrouded by secrecy. According to the estimates of some historians, the United States classifies more than 500 million pages of documents every single year, which is why organizations like Wikileaks, and whistleblowers from various agencies, remain so important to us all.
“The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al-Qaeda, and any informed intelligence officer knows this. But, there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an intensified entity representing the ‘devil’ only in order to drive TV watchers to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the United States.”
– Former British Foreign Secretary Robin Cook
I’ve shared this quote multiple times. It reveals a truth which various politicians, academics, and other professionals have been trying to impress upon us for years: the war on terror is a fabrication. It is based on false premises and used to justify the invasion of other countries for ulterior motives. Of course, this is a perspective you’ll never see on mainstream news.
The most recent person making noise from the world of intelligence is Amaryllis Fox, a former CIA clandestine service officer. When she was a teenager she worked with the Burmese democracy movement, which landed her a short stint in a Burmese prison at the age of 18. She eventually developed an algorithm to predict terrorist activity under thesis advisor Dan Byman, a leading thinker on terrorism and US security policy at Oxford university. Soon after, she began work as a political and terrorism analyst for SE Asia, commuting between Langley and Georgetown to finish her degree in 2004. Following graduation, she moved into the operational training program and served as a Clandestine Service Officer overseas, for approximately 10 years. You can learn more about her journey in this TEDx talk she gave a few years ago.
She offers a comment on terrorism rhetoric which really stood out for me: “Those are stories manufactured by a really small number of people on both side that amass a great deal of power and wealth by convincing the rest of us to keep killing each other.
She is speaking to ‘false flag terrorism,’ the idea that terrorist activities are created, or that ‘terrorists’ are forced into certain situations, or brain washed, by Western military and intelligence agencies in order to convince the masses that there is a constant terror threat. That we are pitted against each other on purpose by a small group of elite people who have lots of power.
While she doesn’t go into as much detail as others have and is not really considered a “whistleblower,” she offers important truths nonetheless. To see a few other examples, and learn more about what many refer to as ‘false flag terrorism,’ you can go through these articles (among many others on our site) to see just how important it is to talk about this issue, and to see the connection between certain terrorist groups and the Western world.
As far as her comments regarding a 'small group of people’ are concerned, perhaps the video below, taken from the Thrive documentary, could provide some insight as to who these people are.

This is pretty excellent reading. We need a few good men, just like mom said last week.
Thank you for getting into the nitty gritty of it. Spirituality is great, but if there was no physical work to do on earth we would not have bodies....
"Greater love hath no man than he who lays down his life for his friend."

A 5 minute search on the interwebs reveals that Robin Cook did not phrase the above quote.Spiritwind wrote:

Here's the article as it appeared in the guardian which is supposedly where this quote is from.

Now I agree with the premis of the OP, but please research what you quote.
As siting "false" quotes is as detrimental to truth finding as believing in democracy.

Poke. I'm a bit surprised that people picked this thread to criticize first
Stuff that is 100% manufactured is immune to judgment, apparently, but don't make assumptions about the real world... lol.
Hug for Spiritwind... here fyi, did einstein actually say the stupid quote in my signature?
i copy pasted it from a quote website --
And guess what guys, Isis Isis Al Qaeda Al Qaeda Barbra Streisand. .. lol scary right?

Hi Eelco, I'll let Collective Evolution know they didn't get that quote right (and I can't even guarantee the one above for sure either). There were a bunch more links in that article as well, but I'm not checking them all for accuracy (I could be on a wild goose chase for days, and still be wrong). I was merely trying to point out the magicians tricks they (the establishment) keep playing on us to further their own agenda that has absolutely nothing to do with protecting the public from terrorism. I grow weary of the lies upon lies, in layers upon layers, that we are told, and so many believe.
Hate and fear are their biggest weapons, and it gets packaged in innumerable ways for public consumption. If you do a search on the subject of Al Qaeda or ISIS you will find a variety of sources that will actually take you all over the place. Some will even go on about how it's the hate mongering of the various religions to blame, trying to pit people against one another. But someone, or something, is behind every side in the background, pushing an agenda that ultimately is destructive for all life. And in reality it even has very little to do with our actual governmental bodies, who are just following orders. I'm fairly certain there is a little old man behind the curtain who is masquerading as some all powerful source. That is actually who and what I want to expose. I would love to see everyone put down their weapons, realize how they've been played, and turn their attention to what is really going on.
The fear and hate we see in the world is not out there, it has been rooted in each of our hearts. That's where it starts and that is where it has to end. I will not see my fellow man as the enemy anymore. Of course, I'm probably going to get mowed down by that very same "establishment" for my anarchist views, but so be it. I will not cower, and I will not back down. My "government" is not my government, and I resent their constant claim that we need them or everything will fall apart. The foundations are rotten, and it's all ready falling apart, and they are part of the problem.
Thanks for pointing out my error Eelco, it gave me a chance to do a little venting. I guess I best go work on that hate and anger thing, LOL.

Re: "Stories Manufactured by a Really Small Number of People"
You are not hateful and your writing is thoughtful. ..
Thank you for being brave.
First they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. The trick is seeing the establishment in terms of a flow of individual grains, like sand. If you can excite or charge up enough of the sand, it will change the pattern of its flow. Reaching hearts and minds.
You might be inspiring the next big whistleblower. Ultimately that is healthy for the government.
We can hate the establishment and love the people.

Re: "Stories Manufactured by a Really Small Number of People"
Hi Spiritwind,
It wasn't you I targeted. Nothing would make me happier if everyone put down their weapons.
These days however much is fought over the interwebs in terms of manipulating the public opinion. I believe the small group that does all the writing will also help discredit the alternative peeps by sending out falsifiable quotes like these.
It serves the divide and conquer strategy by bickering over who said what. You should see the reddit pages that go on and on about the above quote.
However well intended by those sharing these meme's. They are building up hope and then pounding those hoping back into submission through their own disillusionment. Having been on the receiving end of such hopeful meme spreading.(Occupy anyone?) I know how it affects me and everytime I get my hopes crushed I become just a tad more weary and cynical. Until I enter a period of despair and not caring.
I have to work harder each time to get back in the saddle and start dreaming again. I fear that one of these days I could just stop caring because i can't tell what's what anymore. That thought alone truly fills me with feelings of despair. That feeling is what triggered me to point out the faulty quote. Because if I am capable of feeling like that. everyone is. Maybe not over this quote, but over the next meme that turns out to be skewed. Or the next. Or the next. It wasn't Like Naga seems to think an effort to criticise your post.

WIth Love

Re: "Stories Manufactured by a Really Small Number of People"
I really do sense your frustration Eelco. No one is coming to save us. For me, I regulate my time now days, so that I spend more time dreaming and taking action to create the future I do want to see. I can only take so much of "out there" and the dog and pony show we call the media (insert propaganda).
I think I will start a thread on the things that really interest me, that actually will contribute to a better life, even if it doesn't change or save the world. I don't have much money, and I'm getting older so I can't physically work like I used to. But, I'm going to try and make mozzarella cheese for the first time from the milk I get from our goats. Then I'll move onto the harder cheeses. I want to try my hand at becoming a bee keeper. I want to start a small orchard so we can grow our own fruits and nuts. I want to build a root cellar to store the food in. And make a partially underground greenhouse. And also invest in solar and wind power so we are not dependent on the power company. Those are the things I can do, and that will make a positive difference for me and those around me. Plus I enjoy learning new things (and the above list gives me plenty to learn). I guess that's why for the most part my focus is not on the woes of the world nearly as much as it used to be. Because it really does start to feel like a dog chasing its tail and takes you nowhere. Plus, if I focus on how screwed up this world is too much, it makes me want to just say f'it. And, that is exactly where they want people to be. I won't give them the satisfaction.
And by the way, I love all you peeps!
