This is a conflict of my ethics. A clash. It is wrong.

This is not a conflict of my ethics. There is no clash. It is right.

And that's as far as it gets, nobody looking any deeper, because the reaction is as far as anyone gets.

What's predictable about this is that those on one side point with vitriol at the other, with a different extreme of view, not realizing that in the finger pointing there is covering up the reality: each side is in mud, justifying their place in the mud by pointing out the other party is in mud.

Where this gets very, very tricky is when people end up being agitated about this because they know it's true, and don't want to change. People go to great extremes to prove their points. They may be true points, or false points, but they are all irrelevant points. The only point that matters is to disengage from the game.

Everything else is matrix, created by us, to keep ourselves enslaved. Blaming the outside forces returns us to the game, seductively, secretly.

Own it, accept it or change it.

Example: religious fundamentalists who point at the LGBT community as being 'sinful', LGBT people pointing to organized religion as being dangerous.

First strike vs disarmament is a good one.

Ooh, here's one, the way conservatives are brought up to often hate activists no matter what the issue, it's like holding a sign is sinful or unpatriotic.


Regarding personal issues. Gosh if we could predict and control our reactions, life would be sweet. Unfortunately there is no instruction manual for life once you get too far away from religion, yet paradoxically many feel that religion stifles life... can become a big bitchy mess while undecided.
