If there's one thing Americans are really good at doing, it's blaming.
We joke about Russian scapegoating, only known to us because it is clumsy and heavy handed and obviously state led.
But we don't even fucking ask our government how they determine who is a so called Lone Actor and who has ties to organized terrorism...
Particularly in cases involving institutionalized racism and Klan activity, alleged police involved shootings such as the one in Seattle's Pioneer Square years ago, and even things like the "LISK", or Long Island Serial Killer (suspected former law enforcement!), we see very little dot connecting and a lot of string cutting.
What I'm saying is, I just don't buy into the bullshit of explaining every crazy minority kid being "Tied to ISIS" etc etc and all the good ol white boys (and black military troops) are just Lone Actors. Even in situations where organized terror did get to people and corrupt them, i have to ask, what did America have to offer to replace that warped ideology?
Are we supposed to just rip the welcome mat out from under people because they don't think they way we do, or because we expect them to let some goddamned bloated agency or other think for them (and us too)?
I feel like that is what we do to immigrants. Sure, perhaps we've gotten better at spelling their last names, figuring out where they came from, but we place the burden of guilt and presumption all over their shoulders.
A very intelligent lawyer yesterday reminded some of the folks of our city, people are supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in the US.
Why then do we collectively give the upturned nose and cold shoulder to strangers? People who in spite of our warmongering, still want to be accepted into this country and considered Americans alongside us.
I dunno about you guys, but I'm heartbroken by the way our US administration touts the law while ignoring the Constitution. Do they think everyone who signed the Declaration of Independence was born locally?
See how ridiculous that is?
Not to mention, any revolution requires groups of people willing and able to bear arms. I am not saying, go march with a pink pussy on your head. I'm saying, be aware of the usefulness of the desperate and do not underestimate the individual power of any human being.
Back to the whole ridiculous Lone Wolf horseshit. Unless something has changed drastically, those used to be a pretty rare species. Our comic books of course, and our tv shows, depicted a lot of commando nonsense. But typically they were supposed to be the good guys.
Luke Skywalker, commando Flagg, Batman, the incredible Hulk, etc etc etc etc most of these were heroic because they faced life and death alone and passed with flying colors.
What is it precisely that present day Americans think we need to be? And is our government controlling all of the animals in the zoo or just the ones they find convenient to blame for all our bullshit?
I get the impression that a lot of frat boys, rednecks, soccer moms, yuppies etc couldn't give two shits about the political emergency we are facing this year. I hope our president can see that Many many many people who are citizens really don't deseve that honor, whereas many immigrants accomplish hugely and end up creating hundreds of jobs here... while hicks and off duty professionals whine and cry over their beer.
Lol sorry for posting such a bitter persimmon.
Hahaha.

Hmm, was unaware of this thing.
Altho they had reason to be uncomfortable and ask the morons to put the rifles in the car, lmao, it seems like the police in Dearborn MI believe they are the only ones able to Exercise open carry and not support citizens just playing pretend. I find it strange that the guys were arrested unless this happened after the firearms were examined.
Even then , did the dumbasses break the law?
Ppl hate masks and veils i guess, they showed up like skiers escaping the Eagle's Nest lol
Haha one of these guys looks like my dorky ex coworker in the military, the only liberal in our shop.
It's maybe the sort of stunt he would daydream about but never do.

Open carry stunt at Michigan police department backfires
By Chris Boyette and Darran Simon, CNN
Updated 7:24 PM ET, Tue February 7, 2017

(CNN)An on-camera stunt apparently designed to make a point about civil liberties ended in the arrest of two men Sunday.
Police in Dearborn, MI, said they charged the men with breach of peace after they walked into a police station wearing tactical vests, one of them carrying an AP-14 firearm and a handgun.
Police confronted the men, later identified by authorities as James Craig Baker and Brandon Brent Vreeland. They initially refused to comply with the officers' commands, authorities said.

This whole thing, this bullseye lamp to misdirect our fears and focus, it preys on an energy too primal to be conscious.
Like the sun worshippers of old, the puppetmasters of the modern day, force us to believe in the divinity of their deception.
What used to be a full, free, rounded and impartial light for all becomes the lamp of the privileged and the prison of the genius.

Well it looks like i was way off, you guys might not believe this story, cops are all scratching their heads at the sophisticated scale of an operation supposedly planned by a high school girl! ! !
Omfg and us Kentucky kids thought knives etc were bad ass, they say this girl was building pipe bombs and owned a shot gun!
Her parents told the cops about it before she could carry out the April 5 attack in Md...
I'm wondering if the racist comments at the school pissed her off or something, typically you have to have a pretty fundamentally fucked up family to think like that, sounds like her parents are nice people.
Super odd.
P.s. don't i have an auntie who subs in that County??
P.p.s. waiting until 18 yo is fail

Maryland student plotted Columbine-style attack, police say
By Eric Levenson, CNN
Updated 5:01 PM ET, Mon March 27, 2017
Story highlights
One of Nicole Cevario's parents warned police that she was allegedly planning a Columbine-style attack on her high school
The 18-year-old's diary said she planned to carry out the attack on April 5, police said
(CNN)Nichole Cevario's journal was not your typical high school diary.
Rather than writing about schoolwork or personal relationships, the 18-year-old allegedly detailed her plans for a Columbine-style mass shooting at her Maryland high school, according to law enforcement.
And officials are convinced those plans might have come to fruition if one of her parents hadn't told school officers about them, the Frederick County Sheriff's Office said on Monday.
Police searched her home and found a shotgun with ammunition as well as materials for making pipe bombs, including pipes, shrapnel, fireworks, magnesium tape, and fuse material, police said.
"There's no doubt in our minds that we averted disaster there," Sheriff Charles Jenkins told reporters. "I've never seen anything like this, to be honest with you."
Police removed Cevario from Catoctin High School without incident last Thursday, the sheriff's office said in a statement. No other individuals assisted in the planning, Jenkins said.
Cevario was taken to the hospital for evaluation and remains hospitalized, he said. Though she has not yet been arrested, a warrant for her arrest charges her with possession of explosive and incendiary material with an intent to create a destructive device. Both charges against Cevario carry a maximum sentence of up to 25 years in prison.
Cevario's diary showed that she had been gathering information about the school's emergency procedures and had even talked to a school resource officer about how they respond to shooting incidents, Jenkins said. She planned to execute the lone wolf attack on April 5, he added.
"Right now this investigation is very much focused on her diary and the detail in her diary that clearly planned out a mass shooting at her high school," Jenkins said.
No weapons or explosive material ever made it to school grounds, he said.
Police said they could not be sure she would have had the "will" to carry out the attack, but said she planned to die on the date she identified in the journal.
"The fact that a young woman could have this in her mind, this way of thinking and planning out and carrying out an attack much like Columbine or Sandy Hook," Jenkins said. "It shocks the conscience to see that someone at that age could be thinking like that."
I'm wondering if the racist comments at the school pissed her off or something, typically you have to have a pretty fundamentally fucked up family to think like that, sounds like her parents are nice people.
