So many good men died in those skirmishes but no one really cared other than family members. No one came back from those skirmishes if they got wounded. They were put to death in the field rather than brought into a hospital. That entire thing came about because too many veterans were coming home with major physical damage and mental damage and the government at the time could not take care of them. So the country stopped thinking about those boys and girls and they faded into oblivion. Until the orders came that no one would return if they were wounded. The upper top brass obeyed the puke and started executing the wounded. The American propaganda told everyone that the good old USA never lost a battle and no one got hurt. Apparently the Americans were never notified of the dirty little secret that we lost almost every skirmish and so many boys and girls died by our own command structure. It was so much cheaper to just give the medals and some small compensation for the death of a son or daughter fighting for the freedoms of the country as it was propagandized. The Veterans Administration was reduced to just serving the boys and girls that remained in country but even that was scarce. The military budget always had to be for the weapons and destructive crap that murdered people by the 1000’s and 100,000’s Taking care of the poor suckers that were nothing more than cannon fodder was not written into the budget.

Andy had wondered off again in his head about the sad state of affairs and hoped to be done with this Army soon. Jock had become his best friend and Jeremy with his best friend stitch was also all that they had out here. He had a girl friend once when he was stationed in eastern Washington but she disappeared just before he was relocated to this outback of a place. If he could make 4 more years he could retire with a measly pension that would let him live in a garbage can with two square meals a week if he was lucky. His thoughts were rambling on again when Jock started to bark again. He heard the first bark and then a whimper and when he looked down the dog was sitting back on his haunches and his tail was wagging. He looked up and out towards the hills again. He turned to quiet Jock down once again and jumped back in total surprise. Standing next to Jock was a full bird colonel and she was a woman. He fumbled his rifle into a slung position and raised his hand to salute the Colonel.

Carolyne had worked herself across the distance without being seen by the dogs, jumped the fence and moved between the vehicles over to where the soldier and his dog were standing at the side fence. She read the thoughts of the man and the dog. The dog was a friendly fellow but it had been trained by less scrupulous men and knew how to bark when it needed and even attack by a certain command. She reached into his mind and calmed his spirit. She told him all about the other animals being together and asked William to visit for a minute or two to bring the dogs into the dream network so they would know the truth of this world. William had shown up and did his magic with both dogs in the no time world and went back to Jon and Keltor. Carolyne introduced her self to Jock and when she became visible so Andy could see her Jock was content to know that he would be going to a different place where humans and animals all lived in peace with one another. When Andy turned and was so surprised, Carolyne waited for him to try to compose himself. When he started to salute her she spoke into his mind and said, Andy you do not need to salute me. You will be given the opportunity to leave this place and go where you will be welcomed into a dear family of humans and animals. The world is being changed as we stand here and peace, liberty and prosperity are coming. Are you ready to join that movement? Jock stood up and wrapped himself around Andy and bumped him. Andy could hardly believe his fortune, he asked about Jeremy and Stitch. Carolyne told him “they are being given the same offer of wherever they may want to go. I have a few questions for you also.”

Stitch had been visited by a human that had told him all that was coming and how he could join the other animals. William had visited both dogs and brought them into the dream network. He brought them back and let them see for themselves what was coming. Stitch watched the human woman come out of the air and land on the road surface in front of the gate. He whimpered a happy small bark and wagged his tail as the human woman walked towards him. Jeremy heard stitch whimper and bark happily and looked out towards the road leading in. He saw nothing so he stepped out of the shack and stood by Stitch patting him to quiet down. He could not figure why Stitch was wagging and barking softly. He turned to look out to the road once more and a woman Major was standing just on the other side of the gate. He stood straight up and started to salute her when she spoke and said “at ease Jeremy.” He did not quite understand how this woman knew his name and did not call him by his rank. Kristyl read his mind thoughts and spoke again to him “I’m sorry sergeant Vail; If you prefer that kind of rhetoric I can accommodate you. However, I will still call your dog by his given name which I believe is Stitch.” Hearing his name, Stitch darted over to the fence and stretched himself up on the wire, standing on his hind legs and wagging his tail while waiting for the human to pet him. Jeremy had never seen the dog act this way and started to ask the Major for Identification when from behind him Jock came running and almost knocked him over. Jock zoomed by and did the same thing that Stitch had done, he jumped to the gate and stretched up on his hind legs with his tail wagging From behind, Jeremy heard the giggling and Andy tell him to settle down. He turned to see Andy with a full bird Colonel standing next to him. Jeremy had to shake his head and wonder what was going on. The Major asked if he was going to let her in. Both dogs dropped down and sat on their haunches waiting for the gate to be opened. Jeremy turned and looked at Andy and got a nod. He moved to the gate, unlatched it and opened it wide. As soon as it opened enough both dogs ran to the Major and she bent down and received their warm embraces of licking and bumping. She stood up and waited for Carolyne to speak.

Carolyne told Jeremy who she was and who Kristyl was and what they needed. The dogs had both lain down and were listening to the conversations waiting for the coming transfer to the places they had been told of in their minds. Andy had told Carolyne what the tanker trucks were being used for and how every two weeks they would be taken to the base to be filled with some kind of chemicals to be driven to the air base located in eastern Washington. They had been told that the big jets were loaded with the stuff and then sprayed in the air to keep the enemy from penetrating the defense grid of the country. He also told her were the Generals staff cars were parked on the lot. There were two or three of the skimmers placed on ready because the top brass would fly in on a small jet and some of the enlisted men from the base would have to come down and pick up the staff cars for them. Every once in a while a staff car would come up from the powder river facility with top brass to visit the Banner base but that would only happen about twice or so a year.

They were standing around talking when a two star general and a lieutenant came walking around the Quonset hut building and walked straight for them. Both dogs ran over to them and began to bump and rub against them as they walked up to everyone. Andy and Jeremy both were so surprised to see such top brass just showing up from out of the blue. They did not know quite how to react so Carolyne spoke into their minds once again and told them to relax that they were all together and they had a mission to complete. She then talked about where they both would like to go to be away from this destructive system that was being taken down and was going through transitions and would be ending before to long. She took each into the dream network and showed them also the Dream healing centre’s if they wished to start there. The dogs were running around them all in circles and then ran up to Andy and Jeremy both and would gently grab their arms and try to lead them towards the gate that was open. Andy and Jeremy both laid down their weapons and could not help but follow the dogs as they literally drug them toward the gate. Carolyne, Bill, Kevin and Kristyl all stood and watched the two soldiers and the dogs walk through the gate and saw William standing in an open cavern area waving them to come. The dogs ran and jumped through a portal while both men looked at each other then hurried to the portal and stepped in. The portal closed and the team all turned to go and do what needed to be done.

90 ANDY AND JEREMY MEET SASQUATCH

Jock and Stitch were the first to jump into the cavern, Andy and Jeremy flew in behind them. The human travelers didn’t fare to well as they jumped through the portal and Will had to grab both by the arms to steady them as they appeared simultaneously in the cavern. Astonished, the two looked around them, open-mouthed. The Sasquatch being such loving and benevolent creatures, called Stitch and Jock and they rushed off into the deeper recesses of the cavern to see their beloved friends, yipping excitedly, crazy-wide smiles and tongues happily lolling.

“Andy and Jeremy come this way,” motioned Will to the two newest additions of the coterie.
“Now don’t be afraid, the Sasquatch are the most kind, loving and gentle souls you could ever hope to meet and they wouldn’t dream of hurting you. They live here in these caverns and they love and care for all kinds of creatures.”

The two followed Will and before long, they entered a very open and spacious part of the cavern where the family sat with Jon around an enormous rough-hewn granite table. Despite the Sasquatch not understanding a word of English and Jon’s telepathy not being very reliable, both parties made themselves understood quite well and Jon looked very happy and content in his new surrounds. Will spied copious piles of berries, fruit, nuts and seeds on that table; piles of food so high, they were taller than Will. There were also large bowls carved out of wood filled with sweet nectar gathered from mountain wildflowers and Will now drank from one of these bowls with gusto. The Sasquatch has a very keen sense of smell and they could sense before Andy and Jeremy had even entered the room that they were completely fatigued from the stresses of being in the military.

Sevi, Keltor’s lifelong mate and companion, got up from her place and went toward the two; her eyes sparkled with motherly warmth. Andy and Jeremy looked at each other with some trepidation for she towered over them. However, strong being that she was, she bent down and picked up Andy and Jeremy, tucked one up under each arm in a no-nonsense kind of way and carried them across the room, depositing them upon the moss covered logs. Something deeply maternal within Sevi had stirred and like a mother hen fussing over her new brood of chicks, she now fussed over the two men; offering them the tastiest tidbits and feeding them until they could eat no more.

“They said that you are to come with them; they have a very comfortable place for you to sleep,” stated Will from what seemed like a very faraway place to all the tired men gathered around the feasting table. “They also said that they will prepare a nourishing herbal broth for you for the morrow. Mother Earth has already let them know what you need in the way of herbs and tinctures for your long journey ahead.” Aine, the elder of the two Sasquatch children now led everyone to bed chambers that smelt of roses, Daphne and gardenias. One could imagine that they were in a field of flowers; the fragrances soothed nerves and calmed the mind, the beds were deep and velvety soft and all souls drifted off into pleasant dreams.

It was a very restful night for all beings in those heavenly lodgings. Jon awoke to the dawn’s morning chorus of birdsong, for he had slept out in the open with the animals as he usually did. Batty had been out all night, exploring her surrounds and gave chirruping sounds of approval as she settled into Jon’s pocket for a sleep.

The warmth of the suns cheerful rays were already beginning to seep through the high mountain glades. The Sasquatch were already up and about, for they were so well-tuned to Mother Earth’s energies that they could be nocturnal when necessary and had spent most of the night gathering food for the larger animals to feed upon.

The animals that had spent the night in the clearing were like clockwork in their eating, sleeping and cleansing rituals for they understood the absolute importance of regulation and routine in their daily lives. The elephants silently wandered down to a patch of dirt to dust-bathe and to drink from the cool pristine waters of a nearby stream. Various species of monkeys swung and hung from the boughs of trees, babies clinging to their mama's backs; they all chattered quietly among themselves whilst grooming themselves fastidiously.

The otters rode the elephants’ backs to the streams and now bathed and played in the bright streams that glistened in the sun. The otters dove for their food and met with others who were like themselves; bringing news and happily sharing ideas in otter speak. The deer and the gazelle nibbled delicately at the grass beneath their dainty hooves; their tongues flickered occasionally in the direction of their bodies as they stopped to clean themselves. Observing the peace and serenity that surrounded him, Jon silently wondered to himself what might happen for the greater of humanity if all the natural cycles and rhythms of the universe were honored. If humanity was to align itself completely with Mother Nature, if people were to return to their natural state, how might everything change? Keltor caught these projected mental images of Jon's and stopped what he was doing.

Keltor projected an image back to Jon of how the Sasquatch saw Mother Earth once the beings of this planet had begun within the evolution of consciousness, to set aside their differences with each other for the sake of Mother Earth and each other. The Sasquatch are time travelers, for they are just like little children in their curiosity. They go back and forth in time just like you and I open and close doors to enter rooms. Mother Earth had also shown the Sasquatch many things, for conscious being that she is, she is aware that these beloved beings who reside upon and within her, have a significant role to play in the evolution of consciousness.

Keltor showed Jon image after image of how this would all play out for everyone here. Jon was completely bedazzled by the sheer ingenuity of it all. He could never have imagined how this would really play itself out in his fondest hopes and dreams. One of the wildest images shown to him was all the diversity that existed upon Mother Earth. It was an incredible kaleidoscope of life. It was terribly exciting and yet almost overwhelming. It was here that Keltor stopped projecting images and telepathically said to Jon. “You are the Earth and your consciousness is also the consciousness of the earth.” A genuine heart of sadness was etched upon Keltor’s face and tears rolled down the Sasquatch face as he conveyed this deep truth to Jon for the Sasquatch know that there are many who do not yet embrace Mother Earth as another part of themselves.

91 THE STUFF OF CHEMTRAILS ONCE AGAIN

They all spread out to find the staff car that they needed. Carolyne wanted to see what the tankers might be carrying so she went there first. As she approached the tankers she noticed some greenish stains on the sides of the tanks coming from the top loading caps. She reached into a pack she had been carrying and pulled out a mask and strapped it to her face. The closer she got the more she saw the ground area under the trucks. It looked quite barren of any vegetation and some areas were blackened. She thought the dirt even looked dead. She pulled a meter out of the pack and switched it on as she got closer. The meter began to buzz and make the simple sounds that some real dangerous radiation type stuff was present. She noticed some dead animals under the tank trailer. It made her sick to see the poor creatures. She then activated the jet belt and rose up to the top of the tanks. As she hovered she used the meter to test the contents. The tanks were empty at the moment but what they had been full of made her go pale. These things had been full of the chemicals that had been used during the Chemtrail period of the early 2000’s up until around 2017 when they had finally been banned all over the world. The United States had been the last country to ban them and that was only because the people had finally risen up and started blowing the jets up and hanging the monsters that were using the poisons on the people. It was a bloody period and the jets were shot down out of the sky. The airports that were used to deliver the planes were bombed and people died horribly until the Congress finally acted with legislation to stop the mass murder of the world. She remembered that the world was on the brink of destruction over the whole mess. And now here was two tankers that were transporting this poison to some unknown destination and apparently it may have been going on for awhile. Someone was going against world laws with this stuff. She now understood what was happening to the wildlife habitats around this area. She flew away from the trucks and tankers as far as she could before removing her mask and called everyone to come.

Bill was the first one to show up; his concern for Carolyne’s call was one of alarm. Kevin and Kristyl showed up shortly after and actually drove a command staff car. It had a 2 star general logo on the sides and top, they stopped it close and climbed out. Carolyne was pasty and they all became quite concerned. Bill asked her what was going on. She turned with tears running down her cheeks and began to explain what she had discovered. “You all remember the Chemtrails of the late 20th and very early 21st century?” Bill knew exactly what she was talking about and the two younger folks knew enough to become alarmed when she mentioned that period of mankind bringing itself to the brink of extinction. Kristyl said “If I remember right that was a very bloody ending for the ones that were causing that to happen. It became outlawed in 2017 or sometime around then.” Carolyne shook her head in acknowledgment. “Yes that is about right. You see those two tankers over there,” and she pointed at them. Everyone turned and looked at the tanker trucks. Bill’s eyes grew big and he said in a whispered breath, “you don’t mean to tell me that someone has started that insidious thing back up?” He looked up at the sky by a long ingrained reaction. The sky was blue but that did not mean anything. “Where,” he quietly asked. Carolyne looked at him and back at the trucks and said “I do not know.” “My God Carolyne if this is happening again it will be the end of humanity this time I’m sure. What just is in or was in those tanks?” Carolyne held up the meter in her hand and shakily handed it to Bill. Bill took the meter and studied it for a few minutes and looked up with tears in his eyes. “These rotten bastards have actually created this planets death. This stuff will soak into anything and through any shelter, why?” He looked at the trucks again and turned towards everyone. “We must find the source of this and stop it immediately, we can not wait for any thing else. We also must find out where these trucks have been and how much of this stuff they have transferred and hopefully the destination of it.”

They all had agreed on the task at hand and knew they would probably find the answers to all the questions at the underground base. They went around and stripped all the vehicles of the engines and any thing that could be used for destructive purposes. They also sent all the tires to the same place as the engines and mini guns. The second moon of Jupiter received a pile of metal and rubber. The next thing they did was send all the junk heaps that were worthless now to an open space of lawn at the Denver capital building. The fence was special and they sent it to the air strip that was at the base where they were heading. The fence was sent in a hap hazard way so it wound up lying all over the runway and in front of the two leer jets. The two tanker trucks they sent into the sun and hopefully the ground around these parts would rejuvenate itself. As they drove up the road there was no sign that the parking lot had even existed. Binky and buffy two rabbits setting on the hill top, munching on some tender grass shoots, had watched the entire wondrous thing happen and turned to move off the last hill and ran down the gully and moved past the giant metal bird and ran up the hill on the other side and disappeared in the foot hills at the base of the mountains rejoicing that the human stuff was no longer there.

They had followed Route 87 into Banner and turned west towards the mountains and followed the mountain road for around 10 miles when they came to a turnoff that had a big sign that said AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY TRESSPASSERS WILL BE DEALT WITH DEADLY FORCE. Kevin turned the skimmer onto the road and rolled down it slowly. He caught glimpses of snipers in the trees as he moved down the road towards a guard post. The road was at least a mile long to the gate. As they approached the gate two armed men stepped onto the road so Kevin had to stop. The two men moved up to the car and split to each side, both had their rifles at the ready and asked the occupants in the car to roll down the windows. Kevin was in the front driver area and opened the cockpit. Carolyne opened the window on the left side and looked at the guard. She asked what the issue was. The guard straightened up but held his position. “Colonel Maam uh Sir, we have to check every vehicle that comes onto this base. Our orders come from the top commander of the base.” “And just who might that be sergeant?” The man straightened even more and said “Lieutenant Colonel Polanski, Colonel Sir.” “Very good Sergeant, now if you will be so kind as to escort us onto the base and to the Commanders headquarters I will be sure and put a good word in for you doing your job in an excellent manner.” Sergeant Paul Jensen looked up at the other guard and waved him away. The other man backed away and stood off to the side. The guard at the gate opened it wide and a green light blinked on the side of the shack. Kevin closed the cockpit and waited for the sergeant to lead them in. Paul walked forward and in front of the car as it moved slowly onto the base. He walked them in about 20 yards and came around the side and said that this was all the further he could go while on duty. Carolyne told him “very good sergeant” and saluted him back as he had saluted her. He told her to follow the road just another 100 yards to the Green two story building and they would see the commanders headquarter signs. Again Carolyne thanked him and rolled up her window.

As they drove slowly towards the headquarter building, Carolyne told everyone that the sergeant seemed very nervous and afraid of something and it was not because of the rank of their entourage either. “Something else is going on here and I do believe that the fear is quite heavy in the air.” As they approached the building two officers came out and jumped into an open old fashioned jeep and took off around the building. They pulled up and stopped. While getting out of the car they noticed the people running between buildings and other vehicles moving towards the northern part of the base. Kristyl looked at Carolyne and they both smiled knowing what might be making them hurry towards that particular area. Bill was the last one out and they formed up and moved towards the entrance of the command headquarters.

After the Generals car moved toward the headquarters, Sergeant Paul Jensen walked back to the gate area and met up with Corporal Scott Landers. Scott asked him what they were going to do if those top brass people found out about the plan to take control of this base. Paul told him to keep the nervous fear in check. “When Major Wheeler and Sergeant Major Bollard get their men into position and we are given the order to get our boys ready all of this is going to work like clockwork. This base is going to become ours and the underground will start working from this point like they started doing up in Helena. Major Wheeler has accrued 3 more companies of men that are on our side; we have 3 platoons here so that will be adding even more. The Lieutenant Colonel will be held in the stockade until we get this place under our complete control. That poison that is being concocted below is going to be deployed over Denver and contained to that area alone. It is going to be unfortunate that there will be collateral damage but hopefully we will keep it down to a minimum. Did you hear what happened out there on the runway? Seems someone has placed a bunch of tore up fencing all over it so the jets can’t go anywhere. It is going to take quite awhile to clean that up. This may be the beginning of our coup on this base.” Both men smiled and moved to their small shack in the woods.

92 THE STENCH OF AN EMPEROR

Vinnie had woken up in ICU and looked around in total surprise. He pulled the IV out of his arm and shoved the other medical crap away from his bed. He jumped out of the bed and his head about split apart. He bent over on the edge of the bed and waited for the pain to subside. He then searched for his clothes. After finding them he got dressed and walked out of the room into the corridor. He walked up to a doctor and grabbed his smock and pulled him close to his face and said “what am I doing here?” The Doctor looked at him with a fearful look but did not know why the Emperor was here. He stuttered and could not talk. Vinnie pushed him aside and continued to walk the corridor until he came to the main nurse’s station. Walking up to the counter he watched the nurse behind the counter for a minute and then screamed at her. “WHAT AM I DOING HERE AND WHO IS REPONSIBLE FOR PUTTING ME INTO ICU?” The poor young gal behind the counter screamed and ran to the back and through a door. Vinnie began pounding on the counter top and demanding to see someone in charge immediately. A short time later a tall women came down the corridor and stopped in front of Vinnie. She said “I am the CEO of this hospital and you my emperor, have been admitted with a brain dysfunction. We thought you might be having a heart attack at first and that is why you were admitted to ICU immediately. We ran all the major tests on you to make sure we did not miss anything. Your brain scans all showed negative and your heart is semi healthy.” Vinnie looked at her and said “what do you mean semi healthy?” “Well we found your heart rate very high and the blood pressure was also very high and your heart was fibula ting at an abnormal rate. It was as if you had stuck your finger in an electrical socket or something. You did not have an incident with electricity or anything did you?” Vinnie looked at her with bulging eyes and asked “who brought me here?” She said it was an ambulance. “Someone called from your office area and said they needed an emergency vehicle right away so we dispatched the special vehicle and they brought you here immediately.” Vinnie walked past her and moved toward the elevator. When He reached it he turned and raised his voice saying “someone is going to pay for this, I want a report from you ASAP on my desk and I don’t mean tomorrow.” The elevator door opened and he climbed in and as the door shut he was starring at the CEO.

He stormed from the elevator when the doors opened and walked harshly to the front doors. He had called his aid and as soon as he reached the curb the car pulled up and he climbed in. As he sat down he was screaming to the aid to get everyone in the capital together. He intended to find out what had happened when he had left the office in a rage about the lava lake. The aid said “yes sir” and then tried to tell him of the latest happening. Vinnie was so busy being angry, spitting and cursing that he was not listening to anything the aid might be saying. As the car entered the circular road around the white house the aid slowed and when they came around to the side where the large lawn was Vinnie looked out the window and saw the junk yard of vehicles. They were all military. He began to scream and said “WHAT THE F%$# is all of this?” His aid stopped and turned around and said “I was trying to tell you sir, This showed up just a little while ago and we have been trying to talk with the Joint Chiefs to find out where and who may have put this here. “WELL” asked Vinnie. The aid said “Brigadier General Smackdown could not give us an answer and said he would get right on it.” Vinnie shook his head and slobbered on himself. He pressed his face against the window and told his aid to get him to the entrance.

The car moved around to the area where the lava lake could be seen. Vinnie then remembered that entire fiasco and jumped from the car before it had stopped. He hit the pavement and fell to his side and began to roll to the curb. Hitting the curb he bounced up onto it and rolled to a stop on top of a pile of fresh dog poop. It was from one of the big Dobermans that the guards used. Vinnie did not know it until the dizziness cleared in his head. He started to get up and the smell was so powerful it made him retch. Once he stood back up he began to walk to the entrance. Climbing the stairs the people coming down would get close and then plug their noses as he went by. He entered the large front area and walked brusquely towards the elevator that would take him to the floor where his office was located. As he crossed the floor pieces of the fresh dog poop fell from his back and hit the floor. He reached the elevator and had to wait for the car to come to the first floor. When it opened three people got out and all of them moved away from him quickly. They actually had to jump over the trail he had left. He climbed into the elevator and shut the door. The stench in the enclosed space made him gag again until the elevator stopped at his floor and he ran out and down the corridor to his office. Johnson and Johnson the two security agents that sat at the end of the corridor watched the Emperor exit the elevator and scurry down the corridor to his office. The stench from the elevator made both of them gag and they saw the big splotch of doggy poop on the back of the Emperor’s shirt. Both men had to put their hands over their faces to keep from busting out laughing and to quell the stench. Once inside his office, Vinnie stripped and climbed into his shower. After getting clean he took the stinky clothes and shoved them into the laundry shoot inside his office. He had to spray the rooms heavily with some kind of deodorant and would have the cleaning people do a more thorough job in the morning. He began to plan his revenge on the secret service men and the hospital. His aid was going to be replaced and that lava lake was going to be a good place to stash dead bodies. The Joint Chiefs were going to be replaced also and that junk pile on the west lawn was going to end up in the Brigadiers front yard. He plotted into the late night and never noticed the report from the hospital. He finally fell asleep on one of the large divans.

93 THE COUP OF BANNER BASE

The team walked into the outer offices of the Commander. A young lieutenant was sitting at a small desk and rather involved doing work on the computer screen to her side. She had heard the door open but kept working until she reached a point to stop. She then looked up and jumped up at the same time when she saw all the top brass standing in front of her. She tried to salute but Kristyl told her to relax. “We are here to see the Commander will you tell him that General Williams is here with his staff. Lieutenant Jenny Thatcher said yes sir and walked to the door that entered the Commanders office. She entered and closed it. Colonel Fred Polanski was standing at the window that looked out at the air field. He was not feeling real friendly at the moment and he had heard his office door open and close. Without turning he asked the lieutenant what she was doing in his office. Jenny told him who was waiting in the outer office. “They did not say why they were here or what they wanted.” Colonel Polanski turned around suddenly and turned again to look at the mess on the runway then turned and went to his big desk. He calmly sat down and told her to show the General in with his staff. She said “yes sir” and exited the office. When she came back she noticed that the General and the Colonel had both sat down. The Major and the lieutenant were both standing next to the book shelving on the North wall. One of them had a book in his hand and appeared to be studying it. As she moved to her desk the lieutenant closed the book and replaced it to the shelf. The Major had been looking at the file that had been on her desk and she thought to herself that she should have removed it before she went into the Colonels office.

The team had watched the lieutenant come back in and walk to her desk. Kristyl had picked up the file as soon as the lieutenant had gone to the colonels office. The small lettering on it said Climate control of the 20th Century. And in even smaller letters it said Geoengineering and other forms of control and right below that was the stamp of “The Department of Defense.” Kristyl had shown the file to Carolyne and Bill and they all had quickly placed the entire contents into their minds. When the lieutenant had come back in Kristyl walked to her desk and laid the file down and said “that is some interesting history there lieutenant, I am sort of a history buff myself, do you think I might get some information from you later of where I might find some more of this?” The lieutenant looked at her with some suspicion in her eyes but covered herself quickly. She spoke and said “yes I can put together some information for you that will get you to some books I have read. I am compiling my own documentary of the bloody years and how all of that stuff was destroyed in the late 20 teens. Meanwhile, how do I introduce your team and what may be the purpose of your visit to the colonel?” Carolyne stood and walked over to the desk, “You may tell the Colonel that General Williams is here to inspect the facilities. That is all you need to know. The rest of our mission is for the Colonel’s ears only.” The lieutenant said “yes sir” and went to the door and opened it. She introduced the General and his staff. Bill stood up and they all walked into the Colonels office.

Colonel Polanski stood and walked around his desk to greet the General. He held out his hand to shake the Generals. Bill just stood there looking at the man while Carolyne walked up and said, “Is this how you meet a superior officer Lieutenant Colonel?” Colonel Polanski straightened up and saluted the General and Carolyne. He then walked back around to his seat and asked everyone to have a seat. When every one had been seated the Colonel asked what he could do for the General. Carolyne spoke and said “the General has been ordered by the Joint Chiefs and the Emperor to report the progress of the experiments. We will need to see them ourselves so we can give first hand and eyewitness reports.” The Colonel looked at Carolyne and Bill and said. “You won’t mind if I check this out with the Joint Chiefs first I presume?” Carolyne knew this man was going to try to verify their presents. She used her persuasive telepathy to stop the man from actually contacting the Joint Chiefs. Carolyne began to speak in a very calm voice. “Colonel we are so glad that you have contacted the Joint Chiefs. Brigadier General Smackdown has told you what we are doing I am sure. You now know what we have come for; we would be more than appreciative if you would show us the underground facilities and the complete experimentation of the Chemicals. The Brigadier has also asked that we be informed of how much and where the chemicals have been shipped. We will take control of the projects as is warranted. You will remain in control of this base and you will even be given a promotion to the full colonel rank you have sought for years now. Do you understand how all of this is to work?”

Colonel Polanski placed the phone back into its cradle and stood up. “Well general it seems that your mission here is legit. Let me call my second in command and tell him where I will be and we can all go to the labs first. Is that alright with you?” Bill then walked over and shook the man’s hand and said “yes Colonel that will suit us just fine.” After the notification they all traipsed through the outer office. The Colonel told Lieutenant Thatcher where he would be the rest of the afternoon. She nodded her acknowledgement and asked him when he would be available for the brief staff meeting he had called for earlier. He told her that it would be about 2 or possible 3 hours and when he came back up he would let the officers know. She then asked about the mess on the runway and what should be done about that. He stopped for a moment and gave it some thought. “I want that stuff cleaned up as fast as possible and make sure that the base is put on double alert. Those civilians that have been causing us trouble as of late may try to storm us again and I want all the personnel on this base alert. You may as well inform the men down at the holding yard to be on extra alert and send some extra personnel down there also. Oh and tell the crew of those tankers to be ready, I will let you know when it is time for them to move.” The lieutenant said “yes sir” and the colonel and the team all left the building.

When all the top ranking brass left the office with Colonel Polanski, Jenny called sergeant Jenson immediately. Paul answered the field phone and Jenny started telling him what was transpiring, her voice was raised and she sounded stressed and worried. Paul told her to settle down and speak more slowly. She told him of the four top brass officers that came in and had looked at her file on the Chemtrails. She also told him of the visit with the Colonel and how they had all left to go to the Labs below. She felt that something was not quite right and they could be found out by the Emperors people. Paul told her that for some reason he did not get a bad vibe from the top brass that showed up. In fact he felt calm when he talked with them. He then said one thing, “get ready Jenny” and hung up the phone.

Sergeant Major Bollard had taken his small team of Special Forces and scouted the area where the holding lot was supposed to be. They had thought it would be easy to overtake the guards and steal some of the vehicles. When they had been dropped off at the foothills and traversed to the area it did not exist. He was surprised but not daunted by the fact that the area was natural and none of the vehicles existed. The men spread out and searched for any sign and did find a spot that was barren of vegetation. When he went to look at it, he told his men that it was a spot where the tankers had been parked because he knew what had been in them and what it could do to vegetation and dirt. As he looked around he was bewildered that there was no sign except this in the area. He radioed to the Major what they had found and asked for a pickup. The Major sent the bird back and told them to rendezvous at the meeting point outside the base. The Major was notifying the men on the base of their movements and they would be taking the base at 2200 hours. Something had also happened on the runway that looked like a mess of torn and broken fence had been placed on the landing strip. This would be the perfect time for them to take the base as the jets could not be used for escape.

Paul got the radio message from the Major at 1700 hundred hours that the strike was going down at 2200 and to get all his men ready. He told Paul that they would come in with 4 choppers and there would be men on foot completely surrounding the base that would storm the fences. The personnel inside that had not come over yet would be given that chance and the ones that did not want to defect and still wanted to be loyal to the emperor would be rounded up and locked away with the Commander of the base. They planned to use the underground second level to lock them up. All of the poisons and the research were going to be used against the Emperor and his toads. The coup was building and everything they could get their hands on could be used against this puny dictator and the jack boots that had taken over the country and were spreading across the world like amoeba. The Major and the Lieutenant that had started this up in Montana had told Paul that something was happening in the world that was far beyond their military actions and the Major had been taken to a place he called the Dream Network. He had been told what he was to do in the sense of the military side of things. Paul and Scott both had been visited by a man and a boy that told them to prepare for a change Paul and Scott had the same dreams more than once and had been spreading the dreams and bringing more on board. The Major had talked about some people that fought a battle up in Montana and destroyed one of the most deadly places. Reports had come in that those people had been spotted at another base in Montana and had dealt a devastating blow their also. Paul then told the Major of the 4 top brass that had come on the base today and had been escorted to the underground labs. The Major was quiet for a period and then said “when we capture the base we will interrogate these people so for now prepare and you will begin to see us at the time we have stated. Paul hung up the field phone and took Scott and they began to prepare the men. Corporal Spike Jones was guarding the gate when Paul and Scott told him to be ready and gave him the time frames.

Colonel Polanski led the team across a parade ground and in-between two Quonset hut buildings that looked like they may be barracks. When they cleared the buildings they all saw a smaller building that looked like a storage shack of some kind. As they approached a staff sergeant came out of a door and stood erect next to the entrance. The colonel walked up and the sergeant saluted, the colonel saluted back and told the sergeant to be on extra special watch, the entire base was going on double duty and they could be expecting the civilians to try to storm the base. The Sergeant said “Yes Sir” and stood erect as they all entered the door. Inside was the top of an elevator shaft, they all walked over and waited for the Colonel to look into an eye scanner. When he did a soft sound came from the small speaker and the elevator door opened. They all moved into it and when the door closed the elevator car dropped like a rock there was no indicator of feet or depth but they passed a level that said Level One and kept falling until the elevator slowed and came to an abrupt halt. Kristyl asked “can you tell us what is on the Level above” we were led to believe that there was only one level and that was the Laboratories”. The Colonel started to say something when the elevator door opened and they were standing in front of a locker with has mat suits hanging in rows on the walls. The colonel spoke then and said, “While we dress up I will explain that level and this one. You must put these suits on because the chemicals are very dangerous and if you breathe any you will die almost immediately. We mix them with less deadly toxins that dilute them and when they get sprayed the oxygen and high level cold air dissipates them so the stuff then spreads out over a wide area. Sure the stuff is still toxic but it can be used to control the populace in any country. We have added a few things to the cocktail and I will show that to you when we get inside.”

“Now then major, you asked a question about that level above us. That is the holding tank area for our concoctions. There is a secret tunnel in the foothills that the tankers can drive down and load up. It took us almost two years to build that tunnel and the storage area for the chemicals. We were given the go ahead 5 years ago by the Emperor but you already know that. The chemicals we started with were stored in the underground base of the old Colorado Springs Strategic Air Command under Cheyenne Mountain. When the world banned the Geoengineering programs a few high ranking officers buried a large contingent of the chemicals and shut the Mountain up. Those chemicals were quite deadly in the mix and application but we have made them more deadly and much quicker in reaction time. We have planned to use them on the enemies of the United States. If you remember how the Military used the Agent Orange during that long forgotten war called Vietnam. It was just too bad that we had to use that stuff on our own men but it could not be helped at the time. So this stuff will be what we win these skirmishes with around the world and the Emperor has plans to control the entire world with its use.” Carolyne asked “has this stuff been used within the United States yet?” The Colonel looked at her with a wry smile and said “no we have not used it here yet; it will be used on the dissidents when we get the applicators perfected for crowd control. Those weapons are being experimented with and will be built at the bases up in Washington. We are close but still have some minor bugs to work out. For now we are making the juice and shipping it to Nevada where it is being loaded onto the new planes that are headed to china and other areas of the world. The spray systems of those planes have been kept secret for obvious reasons. We have stockpiled this new stuff down there at the old Area 51 warehouses and soon will have enough to begin using it. Now shall we go into the labs so you can inspect the process?”

Major Joseph Wheeler and Lieutenant Rodney Turner stood in front the men they had gathered. Sergeant Major Jack Bollard stood off to the side with his Special Forces platoon listening to the Major give the SITREP. They had the original company of 200 men and had managed to gather another 150 men while they moved through out Montana. That gave their force 350 well trained men plus his 20 Special Forces troops. Jack had given his report and the Major was sorry to here that they would have to get their vehicles from inside the base. The Major had given him orders to take a chopper and search the surrounding foothills. He had heard from one of the men that were on their side, which was stationed on the base, that there might be a secret tunnel that led to Level one of the underground bunker. They had assembled half way between Banner and the base in side a forest that grew around the base. Their vehicles consisted of 4 choppers all outfitted with dispance cloaks and the latest in stealth gear. The vehicles they had were 3 troop carriers and an assortment of Humvee’s. These were the military vehicles along with two skimmers they had picked up in Butte when they left that base. The men that were left had decided to desert to the underground and the base had been abandoned. All the Laser rifles had been destroyed and disappeared. After the Helena affair they had moved around the state and gathered as many men and women that they could before they moved into Wyoming. Banner was their first stop and the takeover of this base was going to build the contingent of troops perhaps another 150 or 200. They would pick up more vehicles and the Chemicals that were being experimented with would be captured and used as a weapon against the Emperor’s Army. He had been surprised that the holding lot was gone. He had been looking forward to using the tanker trucks to transport the chemicals. For now they would have to come up with other means.

The Major looked at his time piece, it registered 1530 hours. He told Jack to gather his men and move towards the foothills where that secret entrance might be and when he found it to report and move into it. Jack took his men and boarded the chopper and took off. Joseph starred at the large company of men and began to give orders to the platoon leaders. He spread them out to surround the base. He told them that the personnel that surrounded the outskirts of the base were mostly on their side and would be helping with the takeover. There were a number of snipers stationed around the base and he gave them all the passwords to be used to know the loyalties. If the men were found to be loyal to the emperor they were to be detained until the base was secure. “Defend yourselves but try to cause no harm to anyone. All of these men shall have the chance to decide their own fates. Someone has been so kind as to shut down the runway so the jets can not be used.” He spoke directly to Lieutenant Carlos Aguilera and told him to secure those jets when they got on the base. Carlos acknowledged that order and his men began to move out through the woods. They would traverse the forest around the base to the edge of the runway and wait for the signal to begin. Lieutenant Benjamin Stanford was told to take his men to the south side and come in that way. He was to take some of the Humvee’s and 1 troop carrier with him. “You will have to go out to the main road south of Banner and track back in. The forest does surround the base so you should be okay to get as close as possible. Lieutenant Manny Langstrom, you will circle to the north and come in on the western side. There are sparse trees but the foothills also run close to the fence line. Remember that Sergeant Major Bollard and his men are searching that area for the secret tunnel so be careful. I would suspect that the base commander may have a guard system set up out there somewhere. I and Lieutenant Turner will take our men and come in from the front entrance. Carlos you will take one of the choppers. We will bring the other two in from the front. Remember, minimal damage is our goal. We must capture as many of those vehicles as possible and as for the buildings we will decide that after the mission is secure. I will notify the base personnel soon and tell them when we are to begin our assault. 2200 hours is the specified time but it could be sooner so keep on the alert. It is now 1615 hours so let’s move out.” The men began to disperse and move away from the gathering area. The Major was praying that this would go off without any deaths or injuries to any man or woman.

Jack could only take 10 of his men in the chopper. The other ten piled into one of Humvee’s and drove south. They were to go south a few miles and skirt the forest turning to the west and go past the base into the foothills keeping out of site. They had picked a spot around 5 miles or so on the west side where they would rendezvous with the chopper. These men had left earlier to get to the spot ahead of the chopper. Captain Carl Hanks was the pilot and he took the chopper to the east and swung towards the south and then banked to the west into the foothills. Keeping an eye on the GPS he flew further into the mountains and then banked to the north and flew the canyons of the foothills until he reached the area for the meeting with the rest of the men. The men in the Humvee had made good time and were waiting in a depression. The chopper came in low and landed in that depression. Jack exited the chopper and Sergeant John Rockford met him. Jack asked for a report. John told him that the men had reconned the area for a few miles and found nothing yet. Two men were still out and expected back soon. The edge of the base was 5 miles to the east and the last 200 yards was sparse trees with some small mounds. Enough to provide cover especially at night.

Corporal Joe “Flying Eagle” Simms and Buck sergeant Tommy Greyfox had moved up the canyon toward the north. Every so often they would go to the top of the rim and look at the base that was around 5 or so miles away then drop back into the canyon and scoot along the side. The canyon had a small stream that ran at the base of it. The trees and brush was fairly thick all along the stream. The top of the canyon on the east side had a 20 to 30 foot rock bluff with a few breaks that they could climb up through. They had followed a mountain sheep trail just at the base of the bluff. They both figured they had come about 8 miles from the rendezvous spot. Joe had tapped a Morse code message to John on his ticker com to tell him where they were and that they would head back soon. The canyon took a sharp turn to the North East just ahead of them so they decided to climb to the top and maybe walk ahead on the top and look down. So about 100 feet before the turn they found a sheep trail that they could climb up and reached the top. When they crested the edge they both saw a heard of mountain sheep standing about 20 yards from them. They just watched for a few minutes while the large Ram stood staring at them. The Ram looked as if it was going to charge at first and then they all slowly walked over to the edge that was away from them and each one seemed to jump off the edge.

Joe was the first one to reach the top and move to the northeastern edge. When he reached it the bluff was a straight drop of 10 feet. He heard the mountain sheep moving down the cliff and looking down he saw the herd moving away towards the Southwest of him. When he turned Tommy was standing and looking through his field glasses. The base was about a mile closer at this point and it looked like there might be some more canyons and trees between their position and the edge of the base. They both walked along the crest of the cliff until they came to an area where they could climb down. They started to climb down when they heard men talking. Both of them stopped and squatted down. They moved along the edge and the voices became louder. The canyon had become shallower at this point and the bluff was only about 5 to 10 feet in this area. They also could hear water running as if it was falling over a rock ledge. A water fall was somewhere down the canyon.

Tommy was looking through his binoculars at the scene below and forward from there position. He handed the binoculars to Joe and pointed. Joe looked and saw what Tommy had seen. What he saw was on the far side of the stream. The brush and trees would cover it from the air but from their vantage point just a portion of it could be seen. A retractable bridge lay hidden on the bank, from what Joe could see it could be about 20 feet wide or so. They kept hearing the voices and Joe finally saw a small camp site just down stream from the bridge area. He counted about 4 or 5 men fully armed sitting around a pit that could have a fire in it. He kept scoping the camp site and noted 7 tents erected so that meant there could be at least 7 personnel at that site. He looked on their side of the stream and saw what could be a road bed although from the air it could not be seen very well unless someone knew what to look for. He looked on the other side and gazed up through the trees and brush and caught glimpses of a road bed leading down to the stream. As he continued to look on the other side he saw the steep cliff and then looked at the very bottom of the bluff on that side and saw the road. He thought if someone from the air looked at that it would be hard to identify unless someone dropped down closer. He looked down the canyon and barely could see the road bed and as he looked further and further there seemed to be no sign until he looked level with their position and that is when he saw a mountain road about two or three miles in the distance. He kept scoping the mountain road and saw that it ran further into the mountains. He figured that it was the road from Banner that ran by the base turnoff road. He handed the binoculars back to Tommy and pulled out his ticker com and tapped out the location by coordinance and what they had found.

Jack was sitting next to Sergeant Rockford when the pings came through on his ticker com. He wrote it down and handed it to Jack. Jack told every one what they had to do from here. The Humvee could only go maybe a few more miles before it could not get across the canyons. The Men would have to move the rest of the way on foot. He was going to take the chopper to the west into the mountains and come back that way. He figured that they could find that Mountain road and follow it back to the east until they found the turnoff to the camp. That had to be the secret entrance to the base and they needed to secure it and keep anyone from escaping when the invasion began. Sergeant Rockford took his remaining 8 men and they took off in the Humvee to see how far they could get before they had to go by foot from that point. He would ping their position and estimated time to get to where Joe and Tommy were waiting. It was now 1755 hours and they had to secure the tunnel prior to 2200. Jack gathered his men and they prepared to move out with the chopper.

Down on Level two the colonel and the team had all suited up and Colonel Polanski led them through the sealed doors into a decontamination area and used his eye scan once more to enter the lab through more sealed doors. Once inside Carolyne noticed three suited figures working around some sealed tanks. They were opening and closing valves and watching gages as a greenish looking fluid moved through transparent tubes in and out of the tanks. As she scanned the room further there were two more suited figures mixing something in an open vat that also had transparent tubes running into another sealed container. It seemed to her that there was a light fog in the air or some kind of gas maybe. The real interesting thing she noticed was the two other suited figures over by computers and what looked like electron micro scopes. There were tubes running from the microscopes into a concealed container that had tubes running to all the other containers including the vat. There was only one room or door in the entire lab. The room was only about 30 feet wide by about 50 feet long and most of it was full with the containers and the vat. The door leading off of the room gave no indication of what might be behind it.

The colonel seemed so proud of the accomplishments his people had made toward the destruction of man kind and Mother earth. These humans or were they, did not appear to be concerned that they were concocting something that would virtually destroy most life forms on this world. The use of this stuff would eventually wipe out all species. The plant life would disappear and the soil would and could not sustain any life forms other than perhaps cockroaches and even they would eat each other into extinction. Kevin and Kristyl had milled around the containers and looked them over very closely. The three suited figures did not seem to notice them as they moved around. It seemed like they were robotic in nature. Kevin and Kristyl moved down the line of tanks checking the gages and how the valves were being opened and closed at certain temperatures and amounts. The one thing they all seemed to notice was that all the tanks/containers and vat plus the stations with the computers and microscopes all lead to one large tube that disappeared through the wall that had the door in it. Bill had noticed that the Colonel had watched all of their reactions. It was as if he was waiting for something.

Carolyne was the first to speak and asked the Colonel what was going into the concoction. The Colonel spoke into the microphone system of the suits and motioned for them all to meet with him at the computer stations. They all moved to an area around the computers. The two suited figures looking into the microscopes did not budge and kept right on working. The Colonel spoke and began telling some history first. “As you know one of the main ingredients is Aluminum. It was actually used as far back as 1921. In the 1950’s the government was telling people that they were seeding the clouds with silver iodine. That actually started during the great dust bowl period. It was actually aluminum but folks never really knew, they just trusted the government to give them rain. So let’s fast forward a bit. The aluminum just kept getting smaller and smaller and when the jet age got to going real heavy we began spraying the stuff out of ports under the planes and from the wings and the contrail age came into being. Well that went sour from intelligent observers but we kept doing it anyway. We began to add barium and lithium and other additives and then came the nano particles that could get into anything. We put viruses into the sprays and stuff that caused the people to be autistic and various other respiratory diseases. We experimented and created actual bombs that would spread out and look like clouds and all that rained and fell on the people of the world.”

“The people of the world finally got the governments to listen and it all stopped in 2017.” Carolyne stopped him for a minute and said “listen, colonel we know all of this. We came here to see the progress of the new stuff. The Emperor is growing quite impatient. He wants to know when it is going to be ready to use in our skirmishes and how effective it will be and weather or not it will work in a very short time period.” “Well then Colonel let me tell you where we are today and how soon you all get to use this stuff” Colonel Polanski said in a rather sarcastic voice. “We have managed to add our nano robots to the mix and they thrive in it. We have programmed them to destroy certain types of humans. These two computers you see over here hold all the data and programming for the little jewels. I hope that answers some of your questions to relay to the Emperor. Now as you may already know, the Powder River facility has experimented and perfected the flesh eating bacteria. Well we took that one step further at this facility and added their little experiments to this concoction. To our exhilarating surprise, the little eaters became adapted and actually thrive in the liquid. When it gets sprayed in the aerosol form those things are going to land on flesh of any kind and begin to feed. Now that should make the Emperor very happy. The weapons being made in Washington will be like hypodermic needles only with a range of 200 yards and we will control all of it from hear.” The Colonel looked at his time piece and said “shall we look at level one and I can take you on the tunnel ride and let you see the wonders of Wyoming at the entrance?” Carolyne knew that this man was up to something and it did not bode well for them so she spoke to everyone in the mind thought to be weary of this man.

Once decontaminated and out of the suits they all piled into the elevator car and shot up to the 1st level. When the door opened they found themselves in a large parking garage. There was two Humvee’s and one old time open jeep. Off to one side were two giant tanks suspended near the ceiling and it looked like a ramp of some kind or perhaps a weight scale for tractor trailer trucks to drive onto. The tanks had big ports with short tubes attached on there bottoms. There were wheel valves next to the ports. Carolyne noticed large tubes coming from a wall and entering each tank. Carolyne then asked the colonel what might be in the room off the lab on Level 2. The Colonel thought for a minute while he walked over to one of the Humvee’s. When he reached it and opened the doors he turned and said “I was going to tell you about that when we were down there but thought it would make more sense when you saw the tanks up here. You all saw the tubes from the tanks leading into the wall where the door was located, well that is called the pump room. Once the concoction is mixed properly it is sent to another tank in that room that has a large pump that then pumps it all up to these holding tanks for the trucks. So now you know the entire operation. Shall we take the interesting ride to the entrance of this tunnel?”

Bill asked if there was a restroom he could visit prior to taking the ride. The Colonel showed him the restrooms off to the side of the garage and Bill took off. Kevin joined him and they both entered the restroom. Bill spoke to Kevin and told him that he had read the colonels mind and the man intended to have them detained once they reached the tunnel entrance. He had a small force of guards at a camp site and had already called them to be ready. Kevin acknowledged and they both planned their moves when they got that far. Bill then told Kevin that he was going to go to the second level and destroy it. He said that there was something not human about the figures down there. “They spooked me right away and Carolyne could not get any readings from a human mind. I do not know for sure but I believe they may be those worm germs in control of the human bodies like we ran into down at the Powder River facility.” Kevin agreed and left the restroom to be with the women.

Bill knew that he was going to have to freeze time for the colonel to do what had to be done. He pulled the TMG and twisted a dial close to the center of his gizmo. He walked out of the restroom and sprayed the beam straight at the colonel. The colonel was in the middle of talking with Kristyl, “As I……. he froze with his mouth open. Carolyne, Kristyl and Kevin all turned and watched Bill walk over to them. Kevin asked in a surprise tone. “What did you just do and how did you do it?” Bill smiled and told them that he had added the time stop and resume dial when he had been given the dream and knowledge by Evelyne and Eryne. “You always knew that they could step out of time and back in anytime. For them it was always that way. They also know how to stop time for one person or life force. I had talked with them one evening and they took me into the dream realm of the universe or reality and showed me how to make an object that would work the way that there minds do when they move in and out of time and actually stop time on a concentrated basis You all are here because I beamed it directly at the colonel. Kevin you and Kristyl remain here and perhaps search the vehicles and any thing else that may have some of this stuff in it. Be very careful and send it into our sun.’ “Carolyne and I are going down and destroy the 2nd level. The stuff stored in those two tanks must be eliminated also so you both know what to do and how to make it appear that nothing has happened. When we are done I will continue time for the Colonel and we can continue this little adventure.”

Bill and Carolyne both stepped out of the portal into the suit room. They both knew that to enter the lab would be a death warrant without the suits. They could have sent all the level into the sun and moved back up and let this level cave in but Carolyne wanted the information from the computers and any other research she might find to be destroyed. They both suited up and went through the doors into the decontamination room and Bill made the lock system work. When the door opened into the lab the figures all turned at once and stared. Bill and Carolyne both had there TMG’s dialed for the hottest spot in the solar system and moved into the room. The figures in the suits began to move towards them and flashed into non-existence a mil-a-second later as the sun showed a small sparkler. Bill sent the canisters tanks into the helium heat and the vat boiled out of existence. Carolyne had looked at the computers and downloaded all of the codes and research onto a small flash drive. She then sent them into the large flare that was building on the sun’s surface. The only thing left in the room was the mist in the air. Both Bill and Carolyne walked to the door and opened it. Inside was the large pumping station and holding tank of the concoction. The sun was being fed a nice meal that particular moment of time and all the tubes disappeared with everything left in the lab. Bill and Carolyne both left and decontaminated and sent the suits where everything else went. Just before they had closed the decon door they had sprayed the air in the lab room and all the mist disappeared. Bill opened the portal to the 1st level and just before stepping in he set up a chain reaction so that level two would collapse at a designated time.

Stepping out of the portal Bill and Carolyne closed it and saw that Kevin and Kristyl had emptied the tanks and the tubes of any chemicals and germs. Bill asked if everyone was ready. They all stood in the same spots as when the time had stopped for the colonel and Bill stood by the restroom door and reset his dial and sprayed the colonel. “….said this tunnel is around 5 miles long and really does not climb that much shall we?” They all piled into the Humvee and the colonel began driving towards the entrance. The colonel had glanced at his time piece and noted that they had been down here a lot longer than he expected. His little staff meeting was shot for this day and it would have to happen early in the morning His time piece registered 1935 hours.

Sergeant John Rockford and his men had been able to drive the Humvee to within a half mile of Joe and Tommy’s position. He pinged Jack and also Joe and Tommy and moved out on foot. Jack was in the air with his men and they had moved into the mountains and headed north. After about 15 minutes they came across the mountain road and started to backtrack to the east. About 7 miles to the east they came across the road that led down into the canyon where the tunnel entrance was. Jack told the Captain to land the chopper about a half a mile from the camp and they would go on foot from this side. He knew that John and his men would be coming down the canyon from the other side; He meant to surround the guards and then enter the tunnel to get to the level and come up in the middle of the base.

John took Joe and Tommy and four other men and began to move down the canyon towards the camp. Sammy Whitefeather the trained sniper and Malcolm Ross his spotter set up their position so they could see the camp clearly. They had moved along the edge until they found the perfect spot. If Sammy had to take a shot it would be around 800 to 1000 yards and that was a piece of cake for him. Corporal Isaac Stinson had been given the order to move towards the base and inform the men that would be taking that side of the base what was happening at this place. He would rejoin them after the base had been secured.

As John moved down the cliff side toward the stream it was 1915 hours and the sky had been loosing the light for a while now due to the mountains. The further down the cliff they got the darker it became. They could see the campfire blazing on the other side of the stream. They were about 50 feet higher than the stream and the water rushing over the falls was good cover for any noise they might make. John sent Joe and Tommy to the south and Ben and Harvey to the north. He took Mark and Tim and they went straight down to where the bridge was supposed to cross. When they reached the stream level John backtracked to the cliff edge that was vertical about 50 feet from the water edge. He found the entrance to the tunnel and took both men and entered the tunnel. Walking into the tunnel he almost set off a trip wire alarm but stopped just in time. The men pulled their pin lights and traced the wire to each side of the tunnel. They all looked up and down to make sure there weren’t multiple wires before stepping over the wire and proceeding.

They walked about 100 yards into the tunnel before they came to a rock wall. John searched the wall until he found a bare spot that showed steel under the rock. He gave his men orders to look for a switch system that would open the doors in this fake wall. Tim found the panel that looked like a large boulder sticking out from the wall. When he wrapped on it a hollow sound came back so he felt around until something went clink and the fake boulder opened to expose the switches with an eye reader to open the doors. John sat down close to the side wall and pulled some beef jerky from his fatigue pouch and began to chew it. Mark and Tim joined him and they all sat in the dark chewing and nourishing their selves waiting for the team to bring the eye reader to them. It was now1958 hours.

Captain Hanks landed the chopper inside an open area that was surrounded by thick patches of brush just off the road leading down to the camp. The distance to the camp was just under a half mile. Jack told him and Lieutenant Randy Hawser to remain with the chopper and keep it hot Jack took two other men and sent them back up the road to guard in case any body else came down. He then took the remaining 5 men and headed off towards the camp

Joe and Tommy had crossed the stream to the south of the road and slipped up to the road. They studied the retractable bridge and found the power plant that would make it work. They left it alone for now and moved to a secure position where a small road led to the camp and set up a defense. Ben and Harvey had moved along the east side of the stream and came even across from the camp site. They watched it for a few minutes and moved further north until they could cross the stream. The water fall was just to the north another 50 yards or so when they crossed. Once on the other side they both slowly moved toward the camp site and took up positions about 50 feet out.

Jack and his men had reached a point just a few hundred feet from the camp. They could see the camp fire and at that point they split up. Jack told Corporal Earl Winston and Sergeant Peter Thomson to go to the north and spread out back this way. He knew that corporal Ben Sweeny and Corporal Harvey Ackerson were already positioned about 50 feet apart and he wanted the men to cover the area at those distances. He then told Private Fred Garrett and Corporal Keegan Douglas to go to south and do the same thing. He then took Corporal Danny Comstock and moved into position along the western side. Jack knew that his men would create a web surrounding the camp from the south, west and North stream to stream. He also knew that Sergeant John Rockford and two other men were inside the tunnel entrance. He was going to give the men in the camp a chance to surrender and possibly join them. He had given orders to take them down without injury and if they had to shoot to just wound for disablement only. No one was going to die on this mission.

Sergeant Lenny Volstad had been told by Colonel Polanski that he would be bringing some traitors to the cause out of the tunnel later in the afternoon. He had told his men that they would be detaining some imposters. He told them that they would be dressed as a General and other high ranking officers and they would try to convince everyone that they were from the Emperor. He set the camp up to receive these people and then they would lock them all up back at the base for discipline later. He was led to believe from the Colonel that they would execute these traitors. Including him self there were 7 of them at the camp and they would be relieved at 1200 hours the next day. Corporal Jerry Fitzgerald and Lance Corporal Frank Young were the least trusted of all the other men in the camp so they would bear close attention when this all went down. Lenny had a private tent and no one else could use it when he was not on the watch. His tent had an underground tunnel that he could use to access the main tunnel on the other side of the doors. He used it once in awhile to meet with the colonel and talk about there secret plans to use the chemicals for their own gain. There were only 4 people on the base that were in on the special deal. The Leer jets on the field were their private get away and they were outfitted with holding tanks for the Juice as it was called. So when the time came they would take what was needed and leave this place far behind. They had made deals with the Chinese and several other countries to sell the product. They all would be very wealthy and be able to live somewhere away from the Emperors influence. The Colonel gave a ping to him about one half hour earlier and said he would be heading towards the entrance. When he reached the halfway point he would ping him again and then is when he needed to bring the men to the entrance doors. This was all going to be a surprise to these imposters or Emperors toadies if that is what they really claimed to be. Lenny looked at his time piece and it registered 2010 when the first ping came, that gave him about 15 minutes to get the men ready.

Lenny stood and walked to the door way of his tent. He heard the men talking about the civilians that had dropped smoke bombs on them from the old fashioned airplanes. One of the men laughed out loud and said “and that old fashioned bi-plane, did you see that? I could not quit laughing when I saw that and the two men in the open cockpits lobbing those bottles filled with whatever concoction they had made.” One other man looked at him and said “we might be lucky that those people did not have access to any dangerous stuff we have in our arsenals today.” The other man kept laughing and said “and did you see the banners that were being pulled behind those silly planes?” “Yeah that one said “THE EMPEROR IS AN IDIOT” and one said “THE EMPEROR IS A USED CAR SALESMAN” that one made me role on the ground it was hilarious”. “Well one of them did not seem so funny and was almost prophetic. Kind of gave me the willies. You know… the one that said “THIS BASE WILL BE LEVELED” “I still get the shivers when I think about that one.” Lenny walked over to the campfire and everyone stopped talking as he said “it is time the Colonel will be here within the next 15 minutes and I want all of us waiting at the tunnel doors except Corporal Fitzgerald.” He looked at Jerry and told him to guard the camp.

The tunnel had proven to be quite long and fairly steep in some places but it was relatively smooth and wide. The lighting was quite adequate also. The Colonel had driven very slow and talked about all the wonders of creating the tunnel and all the problems they had run into. There were places that had water falls running from the walls and spilling into a large catch basin. Kevin had asked about the water and where it was being taken to. The Colonel told them that it was captured in large basins and then pumped to the base for drinking water and all other water needs. They had completely put the base on its own water system and cut any outside usage from the town of Banner. In fact they had entered negotiations with the town to supply them water but the citizenry did not want anything to do with the military. “To bad for them” the Colonel had said. They made one stop and to everyone’s surprise there was a room and it had some restrooms built into. The Colonel asked if anyone needed a break and said that he had to check in with the base at this point. Carolyne read the man’s mind and knew what he was actually doing. They would be arrested at the tunnel entrance and detained and then brought back to a brig. This man was so deranged that he was planning to have them all executed for his own gain and it did not have anything to do with the Emperor. It was all about the monetary gain in his life and he had 3 other deranged people working with him. The absolute terror of this man was his intention to sell the poisons to the enemy countries. He did not even know or care what the stuff could or would do to the world. Bill had mind talked with Samuel, Mary, Jonathan and Samantha and let them know what was going on in the state of Washington and that they should go there first before Idaho. Everyone knew what was coming so they had prepared. They wanted to see how this was going to come down and then give the people a chance. The Colonel returned from his devious act and they proceeded forward. The Colonel told them that it would be close to 15 minutes or so before they reached the entrance.

Jack had watched the activity when the Sergeant had come from the tent and moved to the campfire. He knew that an action was ready to happen with these men and something was going on inside the tunnel. He watched the sergeant give orders to the men. One man turned and headed for the area that the retractable bridge was located. One man stayed next to the fire as the rest had gathered their packs put them on and locked and loaded their rifles then they turned and began to walk towards the bridge area. The Sergeant watched the men move out and then turned and headed back toward the tent he had come from. Jack glanced at his time piece and it was 2017 hours. He sensed that something was not right with everything he had just witnessed and when the sergeant headed back to the tent he made his move. He came in behind the tent as the sergeant was walking toward it. He waited for the man to enter and then quickly went to the entrance and entered on the man’s heels.

Lenny had re-entered the tent with the intention of going into the secret tunnel and meeting the colonel. He was going to shoot the people that the colonel had with him and then he was going to shoot the Colonel. When the tunnel doors opened he was going to shoot the men and then come and shoot the one left at the camp. He would take the Humvee back to the base and gather the two other men that he schemed with and they would then take one of the jets that had been fueled and the tanks on board had been filled with the concoctions. They would then fly to Canada where they would meet the Chinese to deliver the concoctions. He had made contingencies with the research on the computers and had transferred the keys and codes to an outside computer system. The man he was dealing with was unscrupulous but he would deal with him in the near future. He had been planning this for a long time and when he made the deal with the two china men aside from what the Colonel was doing he was going to buy one of the islands in the south pacific and live in luxury the rest of his life. His two accomplishes would also be eliminated when his deal was done in Canada. The only thing that concerned him at the moment was weather the runway had been cleared. He opened the hatchway to the secret tunnel and someone grabbed his neck.

Joe watched the man come over to the power box for the bridge and open it. The man flipped something and the bridge began to move. Joe watched it cross the stream in a smooth movement and knew that it was riding on some sort of track. He stood up and told the man to drop his weapon. The man jumped back in great surprise and Tommy came up behind him and hit him in the neck. The man dropped to the ground. The bridge continued across the stream and clanged into position on the other side. Joe and Tommy both dropped to the ground when they heard the other men coming. They watched as they reached the bridge and started to cross. Fred and Keegan both came forward and told them to halt. The men started to turn and began to drop their weapons into the ready position when Joe and Tommy both stood up and drew a bead on all of them and told them to drop the weapons. The men from the campfire all stood frozen and then slowly put their weapons on the ground. Jerry Fitzgerald had heard the commotion and started to move toward the bridge when Danny Comstock stepped out of the darkness and told him to drop his weapon. Jerry turned in surprise and then lowered his rifle and said “Danny?” Danny looked at him and said “Jerry what in the hell are you doing out here?” Jerry told him that he had been transferred here about 6 months earlier for being insubordinate to a very ugly Major. Danny asked him if he was ready to join the other side for freedoms and Life. Jerry told him that he was and sat down on a log next to the fire. “I have been waiting for this nightmare to end and almost all of the men on this base are ready to stand against this dictator that runs this base and that thing that calls himself an Emperor.” Danny sat next to him and told him what was coming down and if he wanted to be part of it. Jerry stood and said “let’s do it.”

The bridge was fully extended and all the men that had been around the campfire were being herded back by Joe, Tommy, Fred and Keegan. They all reached the campfire and were told to sit. Frank saw Jerry and asked what was going on. Jerry looked at all the men and began to explain with help from Danny. All the men had been part of the insurrection that was taking place at the base so everyone got to know the SITREP and Joe asked about the doors into the tunnel and who might be able to open them. They all said that the only one that could open them was the sergeant and he was mysteriously missing at the moment. “No he ain’t” and with that all the men turned to see Jack dragging the sergeant toward the fire from his tent. The sergeant had a swollen eye and a bloody lip but other than that was able to stand and walk. Jack pushed the sergeant forward into the light and said “would you like to tell these boys what you told me?” The sergeant looked at the men and then looked at Jack and tried to spit at him. Jack popped him one in the mouth. “I don’t think I like that answer sergeant shall we try again?” Lenny was spitting blood and his lips were swelling up even more. He looked at all the men and with a venomous sarcastic sound from his swollen lips he said “your all dead” Jack reached over and grabbed him by the neck and applied some pressure. The Sergeant choked and Jack let him go. Lenny spit up more blood and breathed real hard. “One more time and this time be nice” Jack said as he grabbed the sergeants left arm and twisted it up behind his back. Lenny let out a whimper and said again. “You are all slated to die here in this rotten little neck of the woods. The Emperor is nothing more than a puppet and I am going to be the richest man in the world. That piece of crap you all call a colonel or commander also wants you all dead. He was going to level this base himself when we flew out on our private jets. Ha!! Nothing is what it may seem losers. All the governments are controlled and the only thing that matters is power and money. You can take your Ideals and your lives and stuff them. None of you will be getting out alive if I have my way and there are so many more that see it the same way, so all of you just kiss off.” Jack landed a chop on the back of Lenny’s neck and let him fall to the ground. He looked at all the men they had captured and asked if any of them had a question and weather they wanted to fight on the right side or were they still loyal to the emperor. They all were ready to fight against the evil that they had been part of. Jack acknowledged them.

Jack sent a ping to the chopper and told Captain Hanks to gather the two men on the road and go back to the front of the base. Go report to Major Wheeler and enter with his men. Carl acknowledged and the ping was ended. He sent a ping to Sammy and Malcolm and told them to go to the contingent of men on the west side of the base and help them. He then told every one except Danny, Jerry, Joe and Tommy to cross the bridge and meet up with John, Mark and Tim. “Watch out for that trip wire and disable it. Danny, Jerry, Joe, Tommy and I are going through the little tunnel that this puke sergeant was going to use, and come up on the inside of the doors. We will open them from that side. Tie this worm up and I mean bundle him good and bring him along. Destroy this camp before you leave and the bridge also. I don’t want any sign of this left out here. It is now 2055 hours and we have just an hour and 5 before the base is invaded so let’s move people.”

The men had bundled up the sergeant and gagged him so he could not speak. They had destroyed all the tents and then buried the fire in almost no time and made it into the tunnel which took them around 15 minutes. They had disabled the trip wire system and met up with John and his men. They were all standing or sitting around waiting for the doors to open. Jack had taken his men and traversed the secret tunnel and came to the ladder that led to the opening. They would have to do this one at a time.

The Colonel had driven the Humvee slowly again. Even though he had said it would take 15 minutes or so it drug on to about another 30 minutes. When they came to the wall that was actually the doors the colonel jumped out of the vehicle and walked to the right side of the tunnel. Carolyne and the others knew what he was going to do. When he got to his destination he had pulled his sidearm and was holding it by his side so no one could see it or so he thought. He stood next to the control panel that would open the doors but he waited or stalled looking like he was trying to find something. He was looking around but kept looking at the hatch where Lenny would be coming up. He finally had to go back to the Humvee and do something on his own waiting for the sergeant. He thought that when the weasel showed up he was going to shoot him and be done with it. He would have to shoot all these people and then he could drive back and do what was necessary for him to escape. He slowly walked back to the Humvee and noticed one of the people had gotten out and was looking at something on the other side of the tunnel. He would have to take care of that person after he took care of the ones left in the Humvee. He approached the vehicle and raised his firearm to shoot them through the windows. As he reached the side of the Humvee he stuck his arm in the window and shot 6 times. He ducked down and went around the back of the vehicle to take care of the one that had exited. He popped up and aimed his weapon but the person was gone. His surprise was his undoing. Kristyl kicked his arm and his pistol went flying. He turned and tried to swing at her but another kick caught him in the chest, he went down and rolled to the side and came back up like a cat. As he came back up a kick connected to the side of his head and he fell like a sack of cement being dropped from a 4 story building. He lay on the floor for a few minutes while the spinning stopped in his head. He breathed heavy and rolled to his knees and tried to jump up once more but the final blow to his face laid him back and out. Bill and Carolyne walked around the back of the vehicle and looked at the man that lay flat on his back on the floor. Blood was running from his nose and the side of his head was swelling up with a rather nasty looking bruise. Kristyl was bouncing around like a boxer in the ring and smiling. Kevin came from the front of the vehicle and hugged her tightly. The adrenalin rush fell from her and she stopped bouncing and just fell into his arms.. They heard the sound of a steel hatch banging on its top as it was flung open and they all moved close to the vehicle and pulled their TMG’s out ready to send someone or thing somewhere else.
