Americans have sort of forgotten that escape is possible.
When you encounter tyranny, perversion, oppression; when these things are not only plaguing society but are the bed from which it all rises, it is no longer possible to bloom where one is planted.
We have to pull up stakes, wipe our asses on the bad place, and get the fuck out of dodge.
Sometimes, like my grandfather used to say, a place looks best in your rearview mirror. Unfortunately after living here 4 years, I must sadly admit that Walla Walla is no exception. It is the rule, setting a new benchmark for the standard of all time shittiest place I've lived.
It didn't have to be this way or end this way, but it was and it is.
Simply put, I tried here, I was even briefly an activist here, and I am just not seeing enough positive response, no signs of intelligent life. This is a community that reacts only to protect its own corrupt interests, and the individual citizen is free to get fucked in the ass or leave.
I wish I could say, moving is a pleasure cruise full of promise and hope. But I know better. I know that evil gets around. There is no such thing as a safe place on this planet, particularly in countries like America, where we play at justice but ultimately reward tyranny, because tyranny is profitable.
On the dollar bill, it really ought to say, "In tyranny we trust", because the wealthy are some of the most godless people you'll ever meet in your life. And that's a guarantee.
It doesn't matter what they say. Watch the dollar and pay careful attention to where that buck stops. Or we'll all be fucked.
It was fun while it lasted, Walla Walla, but I'm no longer addicted to your abuse.

The journey to freedom
Brotherhood falls asunder at the touch of fire!
He finds his fellow guilty of a skin
Not coloured like his own, and having power
To enforce the wrong, for such a worthy cause
Dooms and devotes him as his lawful prey.
~William Cowper
